Services Provided By - Richard Hobson Bloodstock

Richard has many contacts in all parts of France, including Breeders and Owners this is backed up by a number of young trainers that he is also able to work with.

Richard has access to a great number of horses which regularly come up for sale. His willingness to travel to all parts of France helps him in the quest to find the perfect horse for a client. When buying a horse he looks for a number of key strengths: Size and Scope, Good Pedigree, Great Movement, Plenty of strength and bone.

Richard buys many A.Q.P.S horses ( a breed which has a small percentage of "Selle Francaise" or "Anglo Arab" in them ) this is due to a considerable success rate with this type of horse.

Horses are bought to suit the individual clients. The fee is 5% of the purchase price. Some travelling expenses will be charged if a client requires Richard to personally view a horse for them. If a client wishes to go to France, to view a horse prior to a sale, any requirements necessary for being picked up and dropped off at Airports, Train Stations or Ferries can be arranged. He can also arrange all of the following:
Vetting, Transport, Horse Export Certificates, Contract of Sale, Insurance if needed.

Please Note: As a point of perfection Richard will always try to ride and school (which means jumping) any horse which he views with the intention of a possible purchase. This will be done unless:
a) the client sends their own jockey.
b) if the horse is unbroken.
